Issaquah Real EstateIssaquah with a population of about 30,000 is a laid back town about 15 miles East of Seattle. I-90 goes straight through town and commuting to Seattle is quick and painless. Issaquah is the home to the Costco Headquarters and houses plenty of Microsoft employees. Issaquah has many different neighborhoods and price ranges to choose from. Issaquah known to the locals as Issy, has an old downtown area that has the oldest bar in the state and many great restraunts. Old downtown also hosts art walks on Front street throughout the summer and the famous Salmon Days. Whether you are looking for a condo in Issaquah, townhome, horse property, view homes, waterfront homes, new homes or old homes Issaquah Washington has homes for sale that will fit anyone’s needs. In downtown Issaquah off of Front Street you can find old homes for sale with plenty of charm or new townhomes all within a short walk of restraunts and shopping. To the South of Downtown Issaquah you can find plenty of homes built on Squawk Mountain. Most of the Squawk Mountain Issaquah homes for sale were built in the 60’s & 70’s and have about .25 acre lots with plenty of mature trees. Squawk Mountain was home to coal mines back when Issaquah was a coal mining town. Homes on Squawk start at about $350,000 and go up from there depending on the size and views. The one draw back about Squawk mountain is that it sits on the North side of the mountain and doesn’t get all that much direct sunlight. Further out of town heading South you will find the Mirrormont neighborhood on the side of Tiger Mountain. Mirrormont Issaquah has larger homes on acreage. If you need some extra space and privacy and don’t mind the extra 5 minute driving time Mirrormont would be a great neighborhood. If you are looking for newer homes with some views and don’t mind smaller lot sizes you may want to search the Issaquah Highland Real Estate or Talus Neighborhoods. Issaquah Highlands is the next exit east towards the cascades and Talus is one exit before the Front Street exit off of I-90 and sits on the side of Cougar Mountain. If you have young kids you may want to look for realestate in the Klahanie Neighborhood in Issaquah on top of the plateau. In Klahanie you will find a mix of single family homes, condos, and townhomes. Klahanie is one of the largest neighborhoods Issaquah WA. Issaquah also offers waterfront real estate on the shores of Lake Sammamish. Homes on the lake start at about $1,000,000 for a fixer and go up from there. If you are not finding what you are looking for go to Seattle Real Estate Listings and start a fresh search.
