Snoqualmie is located off of I-90 about 10 miles East of Issaquah and about 25 miles from Seattle. It sits towards the base of the Cascade Mountains and is about a 35 minute commute to Seattle and about a 25 to 30 minute commute to Microsoft.

Visitors also enjoy the Northwest Railway Museum, the largest railway museum in Washington State. It offers scenic excursions aboard antique train cars along a five mile stretch of historic railway.
Outdoor activities are never-ending in Snoqualmie. You’ll find walking and hiking trails, mountain and road biking, fishing, & kayaking. 25 miles east is Snoqualmie Pass ski area which has about 5 different ski areas.
Snoqualmie WA has some of the most affordable real estate on the Eastside for a couple of different reasons. If you are searching for homes and you find a deal that seems too good to be true you might want to see if the home sits in the flood zone. Most of the downtown Snoqualmie homes for sale sit in the 100 year flood plain. If you plan on getting a mortgage with your home the lender will require you to carry special flood insurance if you decide to buy a home in the flood plain.
You can also find great newer homes for sale on Snoqualmie Ridge. The homes will seem a lot less expensive than other homes around on the Eastside. The supply of homes on the Ridge keeps the prices down. They have built thousands of homes on Snoqualmie Ridge and they plan on building thousands more.
